Hi friends!
Happy Monday! It was in the high 80s this weekend so we sorta skipped over spring a little bit into a glimpse of summer, but with the seasonal allergies of March 😅 Is anyone else having an extra bad time with allergies this year, or is it just something kicking into overdrive for me in LA?? Spring is my favorite time of year but it’s definitely been accompanied by extra sneezes this time.

Love this 15 seconds of calm of a Tokyo Disney monorail among the Sakura blossoms. Sakura, or Cherry Blossom, season is the only time of year we’ve visited Japan - we specifically planned to be there on our honeymoon during the spring to see the flowers - and I miss it so much! It’s such a beautiful time to visit (and brief! Blossoms only last ~2 weeks if you’re lucky) The header pic is from that trip ☺️

My birthday is tomorrow (!!) - I used Ina Garten’s chocolate cake recipe that Kelly at StudioDIY has raved about forever to make cupcakes and I gotta say, why haven’t I used that recipe sooner?! It’s VERY good.
