Monday Morning Roundup

Good morning, friends! Hope you’re all having a good start to your week. Hitting one year of officially being in lockdowns has been a little rough, so I’m thinking good thoughts for anyone else getting a little down right now.

I was wearing one of my early quarantine tie dye projects this weekend while baking banana nut muffins (my go-to baking favorite this past year, after I modified my family’s banana bread recipe into muffins!) and coupled with daylight savings time things were definitely feeling a little Twilight Zone over here. If you’re into data tracking like me, I discovered this page on NPR that is keeping tabs on how much of the US has been vaccinated and it’s helping me see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Architectural Digest takes you inside Daveed Diggs and Emmy Raver-Lampman’s home and OMG it is so good. Their kitchen is so good. I’m obsessed with their bold green cabinets.

To tide us over for the week between WandaVision and Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Disney+ released the first episode of their docuseries Marvel Studios: Assembled - that goes in depth into the making of WandaVision! It was really fun to dive into the behind the scenes, especially since they took such care to recreate the methods of filmmaking used in each era of TV they were covering.

Confessions of a newbie Ilia junkie - I recently refreshed a lot of my makeup (overdue!) and their liquid eyeliner is one of the best I’ve ever used! Their gel eyeliner in brown is also a great everyday pick for me when I’m not up for attempting a wing.

I’m a sucker for pretty much any and all Disney monorail related merch, and this new sweatshirt is very cute. Ditto all things EPCOT and especially Flower & Garden Festival, and this Orange Bird “milk carton” vase is so fun!

The art book for Raya and The Last Dragon releases this week, and I can’t wait for my copy to arrive!

This year Disneyland is doing their Easter Egg scavenger hunt around the Downtown Disney area, which is a great accessible option for families with the parks closed and/or only open for the ticketed Taste of Disney event. The collectible eggs are egg-stra cute this year, but you can always look around for the eggs without buying the map/getting that collectible egg!

Love this Paris block set that would go perfectly with wooden blocks or train sets we already own.

Header image is from a park in our area nicknamed ET Park because of it being a filming location for the 1982 Spielberg classic. The caterpillar climber is such a fun visual.
