Good morning, friends!

Did anyone watch the Golden Globes last night? I have to admit, this is one of the first times in a long time that I skipped it (winners here, for those interested); and it wasn’t actively because of the controversies surrounding this year in particular, but more a mild case of pandemic burnout happening this weekend as we approach the anniversary of lockdowns around the country. I’ve actually been in a better headspace the last couple of weeks, but am feeling a bit of a turn as we hit that milestone, and know I’m likely not alone in that - Self had an article this week with some good reminders and coping mechanisms.

Pixar released the teaser trailer for their upcoming film Luca this week and it makes me long for a vacation on the Italian coast.

This video of queue ambient noise from the old Animation Tour at then Disney-MGM Studios (now Disney’s Hollywood Studios) is great white noise for working or chores. The tour of the Florida studio & how to draw classes was my favorite part of that park as a kid!
